We spoil a LOT of titles this week: CONAN, 52, FABLES, MAN CALLED KEV, TEEN TITANS, AVENGERS EARTHS MIGHTIEST HEROES II, CIVIL WAR FRONT LINE, CIVIL WAR WAR CRIMES ONE SHOT, CRIMINAL, FANTASTIC FOUR, FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN, IRON MAN, IRON MAN CAPTAIN AMERICA CASUALTIES OF WAR ONE SHOT, NEW AVENGERS ILLUMINATI, SENSATIONAL SPIDER-MAN, SHE-HULK, ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN, UNION JACK, ZOMBIE, BLACK COAT CALL TO ARMS TP, WARHAMMER 40K, WASTELAND. I think it's the Holiday Spirit moving us, because most of what we say is nice. Oh, wait - no, we're still obnoxious jerks!

We do fawn over several books this week, though. To our defense (or at least to the defense of the obnoxious part of our souls), there were MANY good books to be poured over. It's a good thing we don't have a lot of other expenses - say, presents for loved ones - that would require our money, because it's all tied up in these juvenile amusements.

It really amazes me that we go on for so long with such a short list. We're just chatty bitches like that, obviously. We do touch on some other news: the Marvel Then vs. Now that featured Stan Lee and Joe Q, moderated by Kevin Smith. Also a bit of celebrity gossip about Nicholas Cage - did you know he was a huge comic fan? I didn't know that. Of course it wouldn't be a N3RDCast if it didn't feature some completely insane uncomfortably diatribes about racism, sexism and a few other -isms thrown in for good measure. But that's not our fault, it's all because of Black Panther. See (or at least listen) for yourself.

We also spend WAY too much time speculating on the NYC Comic-con, and give our oh-so-informed opinion of Wizard Magazine's picks of the year. Well, at least their editor and man of the year.

I'm wondering if the side effect of the approaching NYC Comic Con is going to be making us chattier bitches as it gets nearer. I mean, obviously we're excited about it, but we tend to get a little blathery.

I'm pretty sure that's a word, yes.

I'd apologize for these being so long, but we have too damn much fun recording them, so I don't feel particularly apologetic over it. Plus, it's not like anyone else listens to them, anyway. HappyJack and Dr. Sexy both confessed to never listening to the show anyway, so there goes 2/3rds of our listeners.
